After the success of Baahubali, Prabhas became one of the most sought-after actors in the entertainment industry. He made his Bollywood debut with Sujeeth's directorial Saaho. Released in 2019, the movie also starred Shraddha Kapoor and Neil Nitin Mukesh in lead roles. The movie was massively criticized by the audience as well as the critics for its poor scripting, horrendous acting, editing, and dialogues.

In an attempt at a joke, Netflix Indonesia recently posted a clip from the movie where Prabhas can be seen attempting Banzai Skydiving. In the video, he throws a bag from the cliff and then jumps off in the air, catching the bag and wearing it as it transforms into a parachute. While many had a field day reacting to the tweet, Prabhas' fans lost their cool watching the video clip and started trending # UnsubscribeNetflix. Many pointed out that they were leaving the platform and unsubscribing from their monthly plans. One Twitterati pointed out the same thing, writing, "So #Prabhas fans are trending #UnsubscribeNetflix because #Netflix Indonesia tweeted something fun about Saaho?  Don't we already know Saaho was a joke of a film?" On the work front, Prabhas was last seen in Radhe Shyam, starring Pooja Hegde. The movie was heavily criticised by the audience and critics and declared a flop. He will be further seen in Om Raut’s Adipurush. The teaser of the big-budget movie received a lot of flak from the audience for its horrible VFX and the visual liberties the makers took to portray Ramayana’s story.
